September + October Newsletter
Hi all.ways supporters!
What a season. In the past few months, we welcomed 25 new members to the team and are reminded why this team exists: to ride together, grow together, and create a space where every WTFNB cyclist feels seen, supported, and celebrated.
This community keeps showing up and your support makes all of it possible. Thank you to every sponsor and supporter who fuels this work, including Pause Breath Reflect (Michael O’Brien), Specialized NYC, Revolutions Per, Eliel, and of course Coach Tara.
All.ways has always been about more than bikes. We celebrate each member’s path, support their goals on and off the bike, and work to make cycling more accessible to WTFNB riders across New York City.
We’re grateful for your belief in us, now and allways

Cyclocross Highlights
Huge congrats to Sarah Sanborn, who took 1st place in the Women’s Masters field at Bubblecross, Whirlybird Cross, Pineapple Crush Cross, Carpenter Cross, Crossassaurus Awesome, and Marbletown Madness CX. She also won State Champs for the Cat 3 field and the PACX Master’s Series Overall!
Shoutout to Annie Purcell and Hannah Baade, who raced CX for the first time and went 1/2 in the 4/5 field at Hidden Valley!
Hannah went on to take 1st at Belltown CX and 3rd at Mansfield Hollow CX and Newtown CX! She also took 8th in Women’s Open at Pisgah Monster Cross, a brutal, stunning, and challenging race on crazy gravel roads, singletrack, rocks, and everything in between.
More Rides and Races
Tasha made VTXL & Empire State Trail FKT attempts! It was a courageous 300-mile journey through Vermont & 400-mile journey from NYC to the Canadian border: mechanicals, hallucinations, tent-floor sleeping, and an unbreakable spirit. She finished the VTXL in ~65 hours and the Empire State Trail in 42 hours.
Coach Tara’s Signature Apple Cider Donut Ride was filled with peak fall joy and peak team vibes in our first big ride with our new teammates.
Spirits were also high at our annual Halloween Laps, which included a special appearance by Emma von Zeipel, who returned for her favorite team tradition!
Randonneuring Highlights
Amanda Su (200k), Tasha Kim (300k) and Zoe Verzani (300k) braved the Jersey Shore brevet in truly horrendous weather. Huge kudos to them!
Kristen Song and Tracey Hinder completed the Cold Spring 200k, which included an impressive 10k+ feet of climbing
Maggie Voss, Val Richard, Yuchen Lin, Amanda Su, and Kristen Song rode the Fall Classic 200k, organized in part by our own Tracey Hinder
Off the Bike
New memories were made at our end-of-year picnic and field day
Congrats to our NYC Marathoners! We’re so proud of you all: Katherine Powers, Maya Guevara, Zoe Verzani, Julia Townsend, Tasha Kim, Victoria de Quadros, and Hannah Jeter
Trina created a map listing 100+ WTFNB-friendly bike shops and cafes around the world. Save it and share it!
Community Events
Team members have also planned and hosted rides and events for the larger WTFNB community, including gravel rides hosted by Julia, Andy, and Jess and a gear sale and swap organized by Sarah!
2026 Is Looking Bright
We are excited to announce that we have added two new sponsors for our 2026 season: TLG, a global strategic communications and stakeholder engagement advisory firm, and Hecker Fink LLP, a litigation boutique. Both TLG and Hecker Fink have deep roots in supporting women’s sports, and we’re honored to have them on board as sponsors of our club and race team.
