Joining the Race Team
There are many local race teams in NYC, but we are the only team that is not invite only. Our team ethos is to have a safe, well respected, and strong team dynamic while still having fun. To do so, we set some parameters to join the team.
What it Means to Be a Race Team Member
Racing Experience
Complete at least 8 races before joining.
Maintain commitment by racing at least 5 times per season
Team Commitment
Attend weekday group training and weekend long rides.
Participate in a structured coaching program
Wear the team kit in all races and represent the team exclusively (no racing for other teams).
CRCA Membership (Required to race in Central Park)
$160/year for racing membership (12-race series) or $50/year as associate member.
Must wear CRCA patches on jersey sleeves.
Race options for women/trans/femme riders:
Women’s Open – Cat 4–1, members only.
Women’s Development – Cat 4/5, open to non-members.
